We host a half-termly meetings with local creatives and teachers and education leaders in Crawley to share ideas about how to work together to bring extraordinary creative experiences to young people in Crawley.
The most recent one was at beginning of December 2021 and you can watch the recording of the meeting here.
The guests were:
- Charlotte Vivian, Co-Director of LOOKOUT, a Sussex based company who work with those aged 8+ and professional creatives to offer creative mentoring and workshops to young people in schools and colleges as well as working in partnership with local charities to reach those who don’t usually have access to creative experiences.
- James Wilton, Artistic Director of James Wilton Dance Company another local company who have toured extensively throughout the UK and internationally to great acclaim, winning awards at the Bern, Hannover and MASDANZA International Choreography competitions and the Sadler’s Wells Global Dance Contest. James will tell us what they can offer to schools in Crawley.
The next virtual meeting will be on Wednesday 23rd February from 4pm to 5pm where we will share ideas from creative professionals and hear from you about how we can best support you and your students.
