Enliven: Stories of Strength schedule Sat 14th Aug

A new season of art in the town centre celebrating the strength of people in Crawley with an exhibition trail of portraits of local people displayed in windows in the town centre.

Launching with a family friendly day of free live outdoor circus and dance performance, live music and DJs to welcome people to the town centre safely on 14th Aug from 12 noon – 5.30pm.

In partnership with Crawley Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID).

Queen’s Square

12 noon & 4pm (30 mins): Strong Enough by Strong Lady Productions – a powerfully optimistic show that uses circus physicality, comedy and feats-of-strength to celebratestories of finding strength in unexpected places

1pm  & 3pm (15 mins): the album: skool edition by SAY – Dancers Sarah Golding and Yukiko Masui celebrate the joy and innocence of making up dances to popular music. 

1.15pm, 2.30pm, 3.15pm & 4.45pm (20 mins): local DJ set presented by Tonnes of Sound

2pm & 5pm (15 mins): The Lips by Puppets with Guts – A big pop-puppetry singalong with something to say.

12.30pm – 5pm: spoken word poetry, sing & sign from Manor Green College, local bands & DJs
