Here’s some information for you if you’d like to attend Enliven: Stories of Strength:
Access
All performances are relaxed which means those watching are free to make noise, come and go as they please, move around within the public areas and there’s no need to join in.
We won’t provide seating except for what exists in each location already. Each performance lasts between 15 & 30 mins and you will be encouraged to stand and watch.
There will be a first-aider and security on the day to help the audience.
There will be an information point (a gazebo) at each location where you can find out more about what’s going on.
Strong Lady Productions’ Strong Enough has an easy read document and film explaining the performance. It will be British Sign Language interpreted.
Puppets with Guts’ The Lips will have surtitles so everyone can sing along with the lyrics if they want to. At the end of the show confetti canons will be released alongside red smoke.
Each show and event contains music which will be at a level where people can still hear each other speak.
Covid-19 Measures
Although government restrictions have been eased we want to ensure everyone feels as safe as possible and can have a relaxing and enjoyable time at the event. Therefore we have put in place the following measures and recommendations:
General:
If you have been asked to self-isolate or have symptoms of Covid-19 please don’t attend the event.
We will encourage the use of masks in all event locations.
Hand sanitisation stations will be available at each event location and we encourage you to use them.
All performers, technical teams, public facing teams for the event will either work in a specified bubble or ensure 1.5m distance between them when not performing.
In all dressing room locations, ventilation, regular cleaning and social distancing will be adhered to.
Any shared equipment will be sanitised between events.
We encourage you to enjoy the event in household bubbles and adhere to social distancing at all times.
A QR Code for NHS Track and Trace will be available at each event location.
Each performance space will be marked clearly and performers and audience will not mix.
Specific to event locations:
Queen’s Square & High Street performance areas:
There will be a mixture of allocated areas for social distanced/household bubbles viewing and an area where those who want to, can mix more freely.
