Peace Poem by Emergency Exit Arts

A photo of the Peace Poem. It is night time with a blue sky with trees and buildings in the background. Standing at 14ft high, the Peace Poem is written in capital letters and is illuminated.

Emergency Exit Arts, one of Britain’s pioneering outdoor arts companies, have made the beautiful words of poet, Robert Montgomery into a touring light installation. This poem was created to commemorate the 100 years since the first day of peace after WWI.

Presented by Crawley’s Creative Playground, Emergency Exit Arts’ Peace Poem will be touring around different roads in Crawley.

When will it be touring?

Saturday 18th November, 6-7.30pm

How can I see it?

Check the route map below to see locations and approximate times of the Peace Poem tour. We will not stop anywhere apart from The Hawth for a short while. The installation tours on a trailer pulled by a van. Let us know on social media if you see it #crawleypeacepoem

You can also see the poem in the Memorial Gardens on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th November during the day, presented by Crawley Borough Council.
