Are you a teacher in Crawley? Creative Crawley & Creative County: West Sussex invite you to take part in the third meeting to share creative ideas and connect creative projects across schools in Crawley.
Following a successful meeting in July attended by a range of senior leaders in schools in Crawley, we are hosting the next meeting to connect with teachers and educators. You can watch a recording of the July meeting here.
We have two guests joining us this time:
Firstly we welcome Emma from Art Bytes – a new not-for-profit social enterprise, working to get schools involved in online art competitions and raise the profile of visual art in your schools.
Then Wendy from Crawley Town Centre BID will join us to talk about the work they are doing on their Winter programme. They are keen to work with local schools and are looking for festive songs to be performed acapella in the town centre by school (and other) choirs for about 20 mins in an afternoon/evening event in December (date tbc). Full details are yet to be confirmed, but if you would like to take part, please contact Rachael Hughes, Operations and Enlivenment Officer, at [email protected] for more information or find out more from Wendy at this meeting.
These meetings are a chance to share what you are doing to develop creativity with your students and make the most of the opportunities available from Creative Crawley and Creative County: West Sussex.
Creative County: West Sussex is the new Cultural Education Partnership and works collaboratively to ensure better access to arts and culture for young people.
Please join us for a virtual meeting on Wednesday 29th September from 4pm to 5pm where we will share ideas and hear from you about how we can best support you and your students.
